Great product January 24, 2010 Piano Fanatic (Boston, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great product comparing with Yaktrak Walker I bought before. Yaktrak Walker was a terrible product. It lasted only 15 minuets before the rubber string with the coil snapped. So, I bought metal chains at a hardware store, and put them on the Walker. It did really work and have lasted two winters so far. This ICETrekkers is basically the same as what I "invented". I should have taken a patent as this product says "patent pending"!

I got these after getting a pair that had spring and rubber on the bottom of my boots. Those worked well on snow and ice, but some of my walking is on a road which took a toll on the rubber. The ICEtrekkers work much better for me. If I need another pair of these I would buy the ICEtrekkers.
ICEtrekkers February 25, 2010 Glen A. Just (Davenport, IA USA) Unlike some of the other ice handling pull-ons, these have steel chains that cover the entire bottom of the shoe or boot. There is always some steel in contact with the ice giving improved traction. They go on relatively easily, although centering the chains can take some effort. The rubber strap keeps the chains tight on the boot without any protruding parts to interfere with walking.
Wow! Worked in -14 weather with tons of snow on the ground! February 25, 2010 C. Kimhan (Las Vegas, NV) I bought these to go to Colorado in -14 degree weather. It sure came in handy, I could take them off and use my regular shoes when not needed and put them on very easily when I did! The ground had snow but more importantly ice underneath and it was very slippery! I put these on and was able to run and hike through unknown snowed over areas! I ended up getting pairs for friends also!
Good product.......Would buy again January 23, 2010 Marvin A. Lacrosse (Sturgeon Bay Wi) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought a pair of Yak Trax which lasted me about four times before they broke. Very disappointing. I then ordered a pair of these. They don't grip the Ice as good as Yak Trax, but at least they are built sturdy enough to last. Over all, I'm satisfied with the product and think it's worth the money.
