Midweight is great for rope sports April 4, 2009 C. Bassett 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The midweight is much better than the lightweight. The padding on the palm is twice as thick. Still has the same coloring and design as the lightweight as well as a clip to hang them on your belt. Gloves stretch for perfect fit.
Good Gloves May 27, 2009 Goldsboro Williams These are very well constructed, and light enough to allow for working with tools without having to take the gloves off. They have excellent stitching and a good reinforced palm, but they are the lightweight. I do not recommend them for any fast rappels, as the palm will heat up quickly. For short recreational roping, or a combo with climbing I think they would be hard to beat.
The cuff has a hole for biners, to allow for easy carry. They fit the hand great, and there is no excess material. A good buy at a fair price.
exelente September 12, 2009 Edison Sanchez (Rescue) i used this gloves for rappeling fron Helicopter Helitactical operation and it work very well .
Great Gloves for Rappelling November 2, 2009 Steve F (Greenville, SC) I bought these for a climb up Grand Teton. The fit was excellent and are well made. I like the hole for hanging them off a carabiner when not needed. They held up very well on the climb and I expect they'll last a long time based on their performance on this trip. Great product!
built solid December 15, 2009 WB5PLJ (Jefferson City MO) perfect sizing and built solid. plenty of quality lether and quality stiching. At the same time they are light weight and breath well. That means that they put the right amount of leather in the right spots. I doubt I will buy another unless I loose these. I expect they will last for years!
